The Spirit of Service Awards
The Spirit of Service Award recognizes excellence in assisted living, residential and vocational services. Managers (or their equivalent) will be recognized for their outstanding achievement in enhancing the lives of people. You are encouraged to nominate up to two deserving candidates.
Awards
All nominees will receive a Certificate of Achievement for their nomination. All nominees will be recognized in the Spirit of Service luncheon presentation conducted at the MALA Annual Conference on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Lansing.
The top five manager nominees will win the Spirit of Service Awards. They will also be awarded a United States Savings Bond for their accomplishments.
Nomination Process
Download a Nomination Form
A provider may nominate up to two managers (or equivalent) for recognition. A nomination form should be completed for each nominee. Nominators are encouraged to include as much information as is necessary to demonstrate the strongest reasons why your nominees should win the award. Past winners benefited from nominations which provided specific examples of excellence in providing services. You are not restricted to the nomination forms.
