Communication

MALA is committed to keeping members up to date on critical issues ranging from employment laws to state funding to licensing issues.  The association uses a variety of means of communication to provide this member benefit such as newsletters, special reports, publications, e-mails, webinars and other tools that provide valuable information to members in a timely manner.  In addition, association members can communicate with MALA administrative staff by phone to obtain information or guidance on resources for their organization.

MALA publishes two newsletters.  Each publication is issued on a bi-monthly basis.

The MALA Voice provides timely information on legislative or other public policy issues, training opportunities and much more.

The MALA Advisor provides a broad range of articles on insurance issues including, employment law.

In addition, MALA communicates and maintains extensive resources via MALA 24/7 on laws, regulations, and staff training materials.
